Buying a Karaa electric bike in Zimbabwe
Karaa isn't yet live in Zimbabwe, but ships and supports kits there the same way it does for Tanzania and Rwanda.

Karaa is not yet a live market in Zimbabwe, but the Buffalo Bicycle Karaa converts is already distributed there through World Bicycle Relief, and Karaa ships and supports kits cross-border the same way it does for Tanzania and Rwanda buyers.
Zimbabwe is part of World Bicycle Relief’s core distribution footprint alongside Uganda, Zambia, Malawi and Kenya, which means the exact bicycle a Karaa kit is designed around is already common there. That makes Zimbabwe a natural fit for a cross-border order, even without a dedicated local dealer presence yet.
A buyer in Zimbabwe orders and pays the same way a Tanzania or Rwanda buyer does: kit shipped from Kampala at Uganda retail pricing (UGX 1,650,000 to 1,930,000, roughly $446 to $522), with fitting coordinated remotely or, if the buyer already has access to a bicycle mechanic locally, guidance provided for a supervised local fit. Warranty and support work the same regardless of where the buyer is, tracked by kilometres and charge cycles, not by proximity to Kampala.
This isn’t a substitute for a real local presence, and Karaa doesn’t claim to have one in Zimbabwe yet. It’s a straightforward answer to a question that comes up already: whether Karaa ships this far, and it does.
Common questions
Is shipping to Zimbabwe slower than to Uganda? Yes, cross-border shipping adds time; message us for a current estimate before ordering.
Does the warranty still apply outside Karaa’s live markets? Yes, the same 10,000 km motor and 500 charge cycle battery warranty applies regardless of location.
