Buying a Karaa from Tanzania or Rwanda

We ship Karaa kits and electric bikes from Kampala to Tanzania and Rwanda regularly. Here is exactly how it works, question by question.
How do I order? Message us on WhatsApp with what you want: a conversion kit for a bicycle you own, or a complete electric bike. We quote in writing with shipping to your town included. Kigali and the northern Tanzania corridor are the fastest routes from Kampala.
Will the kit fit my bicycle? If it has 26-inch or 29-inch wheels, a sound frame and working brakes, yes. Every Buffalo model qualifies automatically. Send a photo of the bicycle and we confirm before you pay anything.
Who fits it? Any competent bicycle mechanic can, with our guide; the job is a front wheel, a battery mount and an app pairing. For fleet orders we train your mechanic, which is also the first step to becoming our dealer in your town.
What about the warranty? It travels with the bike: 10,000 km or one year on the motor, 500 charge cycles or one year on the battery. Spares ship from Kampala.
What does it cost to run? About 20 US cents of electricity per 100 km, from any wall socket. The pump price in Dar or Kigali stops being your problem.
