Most fleets in East Africa already run bicycles. The Karaa kit electrifies the bike you already own instead of replacing it. That keeps the frame your riders know, lowers the upfront cost, and makes service simpler.

What it fits. Almost any 26-inch bicycle, including the Buffalo bicycles widely used across the region. If your riders are already on it, we can convert it.

What you get. A 250W brushless DC geared hub motor, fitted to the front or rear wheel, with app-managed pedal assist and four ride modes: climbing, eco, manual and cargo. It runs on the removable 36V 14.5 Ah battery (522 Wh), which charges in six to seven hours from any wall socket.

What it does on the road. 32 km/h assisted, up to 120 km on a charge depending on load, terrain and assist level, and 100 kg on the rear rack. Enough to carry milk cans, crates, delivery bags or a passenger over the routes your riders already work.

Why convert rather than buy new. Lower cost per bike, no retraining on an unfamiliar frame, and a kit your own team can fit and service. The motor is warranted for 10,000 km or one year; the battery for 500 cycles or one year.

For fleets, the optional GPS tracker adds location, uptime monitoring and remote immobilisation, which matters when bikes are out all day or on a ride-to-own plan.

Kits are assembled locally. To fit a fleet, tell us how many bikes and what they carry, and we will quote.
